An in-depth interactive workshop focused upon how to design, manage and create independently an effective film festival strategy. The workshop is open to filmmakers with completed or in-development short & feature films that are either fiction or non-fiction.
Rebekah Louisa Smith Biography
After choosing not pursue a career in Academia, Doctor Rebekah Louisa Smith began her film industry career in 2007 working as one of the producers of Wales’ national horror film festival, the Abertoir Horror Festival, which is part of the European Fantastic Film Festivals Federation.
Rebekah is committed to discovering new, innovative talent and promoting the director’s vision via international film festivals.
Her company is a consultancy & management service based in London. Rebekah offers a range of services to film makers in order to help them to achieve successful international film festival exposure & distribution.
These services include, among others, one to one consultations where Rebekah and her team advise the film maker how to design effective and bespoke film festival, sales, distribution and on-line marketing strategies for their film and a film festival manager service where Rebekah creates and manages your films festival campaign on your behalf, www.thefilmfestivaldoctor.co.uk
