Event Producer and Film Festival Director obsessed with documentaries, colourful surrealism and quirky comedies.
After 8 years of experience in radio production she turned into producing art & film events in London, alongside working for the Albany Theatre as Operations Manager at Canada Water Culture Space.
When judging short films she's looking out for stories that grasp attention, not predictable soundscape and good acting. She has founded InShortFF in 2014 in London.

Event Producer, Social Worker, Educator and Cultural Events Programmer.In 2014 Assistant of InShort Film Festival Director & Competition Coordinator.For 6 years of her professional experience she was responsible for concerts, festivals, large outdoor events, fairs; poetry, performance and film events and exhibitions as well. Also she was working as a social worker and event coordinator in educational and cultural oriented institutions and as a marketing specialist.
She loves movies since she was five when she saw for the first time "Cabaret" directed by Bob Fosse.
Katarzyna is a huge fan of Jennifer Reeves, Jerzy Skolimoski, Peter Greenaway, Quay Brothers, Jim Jarmusch, Roman Polański, Billy Wilder... and many others. 😉

Total cinephile geek who misses academia. I love queer and camp coded cinema, archive films (especially relating to queer or racial work that corrects history!), and fiction films that blur reality and transgress filmic convention. I love films that uncover hidden realities or dream up brave new worlds. I view cinema with what theorist bell hooks calls the ‘oppositional gaze’, and have since being a child.
I’ve been welcoming guests and propping up bars at London arts venues for years, and finding audiences for InShortFF, Fringe! Queer Film & Arts Fest and Underwire Festival among others. Favourite film: How to Survive a Plague or The Celluloid Closet. Or Jackie Brown. Maybe even The Purple Rose of Cairo. No, Born in Flames!

Wes is a prize-winning poet with a degree in interdisciplinary arts and a graduate with distinction from Goldsmith’s Creative and Life Writing MA programme.
Between 2004 and 2007 he was closely involved in the instigation of Glastonbury Festival’s Emerging Talent Competition, which - like InShort Film Fest - fields thousands of applications each year from independent artists (in that case, musicians).
A champion of independent creativity, he won the title Bard of Glastonbury in 2015 and is now is also an Elder Bard of his hometown. He is now a Library Development Officer based at Canada Water Library, where the Culture Space that has hosted numerous InShortFF screenings can be found.

Aurella Yussuf is a writer, curator and art historian specialising in Africa and the African Diaspora. She is the founder of Women of Colour Film Club and a founding member of Thick/er Black Lines collective.

Hilma is a graduate of Graphic and Media Design at London College of Communication, UAL. She loves prints, patterns and typography but is always willing to explore and experiment with other areas of design.
With a strong passion for Branding, Typography and Art Direction, also a lover of patterns and shapes, whilst always looking to explore other areas.Her work process involves a lot of experimentation, exploration and testing, with the aim to create work that is 'out of the box' and unique.
