After 8 years of experience in radio production she turned into producing art & film events in London, alongside working for the Albany Theatre.
When judging short films she's looking out for stories that grasp attention, not predictable soundscape and good acting. She has founded InShortFF in 2014 in London.

Ida started acting as a teenager, and never left the arts as this is where herheart belongs.She trained as theatre director and applied theatre practitioner, workedas performer, director, teacher and project manager in different venuesand companies in Italy, Portugal and theUK. Documentaries’ and historical films’ lover, Ida is firmly convinced of the powerof the arts to create social change, and is willing to prove thatinternational collaboration can make the arts world a very interesting place.

All around film enthusiast, mesmerized by cinema for many years. Worked as a freelance film translator, script editor and short film producer. When not watching films he can be spotted cycling around Brighton. Yep, cycling is another of his passions. Thus apart from numerous random screenings he organized, he also produced Bicycle Film Festival Brighton 2015.

Also she was working as a social worker and event coordinator in educational and cultural oriented institutions and as a marketing specialist.
She loves movies since she was five when she saw for the first time "Cabaret" directed by Bob Fosse.
Katarzyna is a huge fan of Jennifer Reeves, Jerzy Skolimoski, Peter Greenaway, Quay Brothers, Jim Jarmusch, Roman Polański, Billy Wilder... and many others. 😉

Based in São Paulo, Brazil, Daniel’s biggest achievement was directing and curating the Festival Cine Favela, the world’s biggest event dedicated to promoting cinema from the peripheries. He won the Accessibility Award as Personality of the Year 2013. His project Vira-Latas de Aluguel was elected the Best Theatre Project of the same year by the R7 news website and was also nominated to the Shell Theatre Award in the innovation category.
Daniel is also a curator of the Festival Cultura Inglesa and founder and producer of the festivals Festival Pop de Cinema, Festival De Cinema De Santa Cruz Do Sul, Cinemix, Cine Recreio e Curta na Praca.FestiHis first feature SATYRIANAS, 78 HORAS EM 78 MINUTOS premiered at the film competition of FESTIVAL DO RIO and was one of the top 5 best films according to the public vote on the 36o. SÃO PAULO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL. As a film workshop facilitator he has trained over 1000 young people and adults.

Cal’s passion for making movies has started in front of the cameras as an actress but as a magnet she was quickly taken to the other side. Using the lenses to portrait the world she sees around and to engage with people, she believes this is the most effective way of communicate, empower and shorten distances between oceans. Obsessed with documentaries as well as movies having women as an important and strong character she loves watching stories that she has never heard about.

'Arguably the most notorious Italian export after Marinara sauce, Silvio recently completed a Master’s Degree in Cultural and Creative Industries at King’s College London with a dissertation titled ‘Queering the Lens: An Investigation of Male Homosexuality in Contemporary Italian Cinema’.
His most prominent interests are - alas! - visual arts and queer studies, therefore he started working and volunteering for LGBT arts and film festivals from quite an early age both in Italy and the UK. His film taste has been decisively influenced by directors such as Pedro Almodóvar, Gus Van Sant, Gregg Araki and Xavier Dolan to mention just a few. When he’s judging films, he looks out for a compelling possibly intricate storyline; well thought-out costumes, colours and details; character diversity and roundness.

Currently studying Modern Languages at Exeter University, she is a huge fan of world cinema; enjoying everything from surreal French art house to wacky Hispanic films. She loves the ones that bring out emotions and include unique and creative aspects that are original to themselves!
When it comes to judging films she really looks out for the soundtracks as music is her second passion.
To InShortFF, she has brought her experience as a Head of Music for XpressionFM Radio and programmed two sets of Music Videos Screenings. 'Music makes you feel all these amazing emotions; it brings the drama, the sadness, the terror or the romance, for me it brings the feeling to the film.

Born in Poland from the film lovers; studied culture, art and film in the Poznan University in Poland; works in the British Museum; besides of love for cinema, he is also a writer, poet and occasionally a musician. An ongoing supporter and a host of Short Waves Polish Short FF in London; a programmer of the short films in Play Poland Film Festival '14 and a contributor for the very first edition of InShortFF’14. His favourite film is a Polish work by W.J. Has: “The Saragossa Manuscript”.

Folasade is a film and television editor with a wide range of experience and credits working in both the UK and abroad. She has worked extensively across picture, sound and the special visual effects departments with Thames Television, BBC and on independent feature films. Directors she has worked with have praised her editorial abilities with script, structure and the unique perspective she brings to narrative through editing.

Founder and Director of THEATRE DE LA MER (Sea's Theater), Producer, Writer and Director (Oran, Algeria, 1968 - 1972). Founder and Director of MALDOROR FILM, Producer, Screenwriter and Director (Rome, Italy, 1986 – 2009). Founder and Director of Festival International Cinema Libero - International Free Film Festival (Rome, Italy, 2003-2006). Now independent Screenwriter, Documentary and Movie Director.

Noriko Okaku is a media artist / Audio Visual performance artist who now lives and works in London. Okaku graduated at the Royal College of Art, completing her MA in Animation in 2005. Her work often borrows, adopts, copies and recycles existing images to explore the diverse avenues of perception. Her work explores the eclecticism and mystery/strangeness underlying everyday objects and actions. Her video work incorporates drawing, collage, photography, painting and animation.

Leading workshop: Creating Successful Film Festival Exposure (2nd Sep '15).

After choosing not pursue a career in Academia, Doctor Rebekah Louisa Smith began her film industry career in 2007 working as one of the producers of Wales’ national horror film festival, the Abertoir Horror Festival, which is part of the European Fantastic Film Festivals Federation.Rebekah is committed to discovering new, innovative talent and promoting the director’s vision via international film festivals.Her company is a consultancy & management service based in London. Rebekah offers a range of services to film makers in order to help them to achieve successful international film festival exposure & distribution.

Matthew recently fulfilled an ambition to write a book, and is now completing his fifth.
Even with a successful career as a DJ that has spanned more than half his life, brought him world recognition and a Guinness World Record, he will always cite film as his first passion. Writing is his new adventure. He 'sees' his stories as movies in his mind's eye and has a clear plan including converting them into screenplays. He's run a video store, cult film club and a cinema, Matthew feels that turning his books into films is the natural progression for his passion.

Karolina Fraj is supporting InShortFF second year round, this time . For the last 12 years she has been working with people with many different kinds of disabilities. She has taken part in many projects promoting inclusion and has an MA in Special Needs Education.
Her passion for film has shaped her sensitivity to those excluded and often forgotten in our society. Always ready to explain, guide others and find ways to include everyone.
At the moment Karolina works for The Markfield Project, a Community Centre in Harringey that promotes dignity, choice, independence and community inclusion of Disabled people and their families.

Recent film that impressed her was ‘Timbuktu’ by Abderrahmane Sissako.

Aneta is an international actress and a prolific voice over artist based in London.
Since 2008 she has worked as a presenter on CBeebies Poland. She has previously collaborated with Polish Artists in London and is currently in rehearsal with Cabinets of Curiosity's latest show, performing in London and Germany this autumn.
Aneta can also be seen this Christmas on Sky 1's 'Fungus The Bogeyman'.

Erkut Terliksiz is an artist based in İstanbul. Combining his gentle vocal, haunting BVs with Latin, reggae and flamenco guitar rhythms Gizmo Varillas brings a refreshing take on the current singer songwriter genre that he calls “Dark Tropical.”

Gizmo was born in Santander, grew up in Bilbao and arrived in London by way of Cardiff where he studied media as an aspiring documentary maker. His first single ‘One And Only’ was warmly received with plays from Simon Raymonde of Bella Union on Amazing Radio and multiple plays from DJ Gary Crowley at BBC Introducing who called his sound “timeless.” The single reached 25 on the Tradio pop chart and he has even received the seal of approval from seasoned artists the likes of Gavin James and Jack Savoretti who he supported on tour across the UK including shows at the Sage, QMU, The Institute and Brudenell Social Club to name a few.

Murnau Den Linden is the moniker of Eduardo Lindes, independent professional stablished in London, specialized in graphic art, Latin and Hispanic music curation, and marketing strategies. Also, he has simultaneously developed his role as entrepreneur. It includes several innovative editorial projects such as magazines, artistic performances and other digital developments.

He founded New Hispanic Music -a British project based in London, after Plastica Magazine (a global quarterly edition launched in December 2008, covering a range of topics for New Latin Wave lovers, not just trendy souls). Murnau Den Linden is a marketing, design and illustration consultancy and production agency.

André Piza is a producer and theatre director, with several years’ experience in the arts and education industries. Originally a graduate in Journalism from University of São Paulo, he ran his film production company for four years before joining Ágora Teatro. Here he was resident director, assisting and directing plays from both Brazilian and international playwrights. In São Paulo, he undertook local research for BBC Bristol, producing documentaries and feature films. He was also a Directing Board member at the education and arts institute Lumen Verbi. In 2012, he graduated from the MA in Theatre Directing at RADA and shortly afterwards, began working with People’s Palace Projects where he has supported projects such as Rio Occupation London, Points of Contact and Arte sem Limites in a variety of roles from coordinator to interpreter, and now holds project management responsibility for a variety of arts projects.

Sonia Vico is a video artist and photographer originally from Valencia, Spain. Three years ago she finished her studies in Photography and she was given a grant to do an internship in the UK. After such a rewarding experience, she decided that London would be the city to live and work. At the moment she works as a freelancer Photographer and Video Editor.

Brazilian based in London for the past 20 years. Solange is a qualified translator and interpreter with experience in a range of areas such as legal, medical, sporting and computing. She has also gained invaluable experience working as a volunteer translator in the community in Brazil, Portugal and England. Avid cinema goer Solange appreciates the art involved in bringing to the silver screen films that can convey an array of feelings. She finds the whole experience magical and relates it to fond childhood memories. Solange also enjoys documentaries about nature, history, travelling, music and science. In her opinion the idea of having one favourite film is rather restricting.

Elton has worked on modern and contemporary literature and culture, concentrating primarily on literary criticism and translations from English to Portuguese and vice-versa. He has written particularly on the work of Virginia Woolf, James Joyce and José Saramago. He graduated with a first class BA (Hons) degree in English Literature at Birkbeck University of London and has started a Master’s degree in Contemporary Literature and Culture in the same institution.

As a keen humanitarian, I have volunteered as an interpreter for the Migrant and Refugee Communities Forum in London, a non-governmental organization created to support legal and/or illegal immigrants living in the UK.
Passionate about the arts and ecology, he has worked closely with a non-profit record label called Gingko Music, created to raise funds to help with forest conservation in South America, for which I was the A&R representative.

Born in Lisbon, Carolina likes to think she has no roots nor borders constraining her movement around the world.
After studying Journalism and working in TV in Portugal, she left for the UK to complete a Masters in TV Production specialising in Documentary, and has since freelanced as videographer and photographer in a few countries.

Since retiring from science and English teaching he has been writing, translating, and proof-reading for the online bilingual newspaper www.theprisma.co.uk. The multicultural orientation of the paper has given him a chance to understand issues connected with diversity and immigrant experiences.He has interviewed several directors whose films were shown at DocLisboa and the Brazilian Film Festival in London, including Mario Patrocinio (Complexo do Alemao and I love Kuduru), Bernard Attal (A Colleccao Invisivel), Hilton Lacerda (Tatuagem), Odilon Rocha (A Novela das Oito).
His favourite films are Paris Texas, Amores Perros and La Jaula de Oro.
His translation of the book O Mundo da Astrologia: an Ethnography of Astrology in Modern Brazil, by Luís Rodolpho Vilhena was published this year by the Sophia Centre Press at the University of Wales.

Maria was born in Granada, a beautiful town in the south of Spain but she lived in Brazil, Italy and UK. She grew up in the family of artists and was since childhood her passion was cinema and sculpture.In her profession as a biologist she enjoys traveling around the world and learning about others cultures.
She will run Athens marathon soon.
